The Earliest Manga Dog
Born in 1931 by artist Suihō Tagawa, Norakuro (のらくろ) became Japan's earliest manga dog. Nearly a century later, he returns as a cultural memecoin for the internet age.
Norakuro marched through Shōnen Kurabu magazine as a bold, black-and-white dog soldier. His design, inspired by Felix the Cat, shaped Japanese manga history. This site revives him as a playful century-old MemeDog.
Before Doge, before Shiba — Norakuro led the way.
Bold, timeless silhouette for memes & collectibles.
